    Morning All,

Visited LWR last week and are considering relocating. We have 2 kids ages 12 & 10. Would luv any recent thoughts and feedback re bridgewater.

Are there many kids or mostly empty nesters/retirees?

My buddy just moved there from Central Park, still owns here but loves Bridgewater and says there are plenty of kids, i only know about 4 people there but 3 of them have kids that age...

Katha, how old are your children? I can vouch for Luby.....lots of kids around! Good thing I bought several extra bags of Halloween candy!

    Hi Katha,
Bridgewater is a "Great" place to live and plenty of kids that age.
    Mine our 6 & 3.
They seem to be younger than the norm.
8-12 seems to be what I see lot of.
Both neighbors on each side of me, their kids are in that age group. Hope this helps.

Katha, Central Park has a 10 acre park right in the middle of the community. It includes a Pavilion that can be used for functions.

Isn't there supposed to be a public park right next to Bridgewater? I'm not sure if it is open but I recall that being mentioned at the visitor center.

Yes Bob, there's a playground and jogging/work out path over behind the mailboxes but I think it's Bridgewater use only. Not sure about a 'public' park over here unless you're thinking of the area around the lakes on White Eagle.

I was told there will be a park across from Indigo on the northwest corner of White Eagle and 44th Ave.

The new community Mallory Park will have direct access to the new park from within the community also, supposed to have 2 dog parks, walking trails, basketball courts, etc.... atleast that is what i was told by both the community and the info center....

That sounds right. Indigo chose to forgo dog parks (a great expense and liability) because the adjacent park will have them.

Not that we use it that often but it is nice amenity to have right inside your community but yes it is a big expense....
